The Master Chorale of Flagstaff

A little about...

The Master Chorale of Flagstaff

Each year Master Chorale of Flagstaff presents several concerts in Flagstaff, including the much anticipated annual Christmas concert. Frequently we present concerts in other Arizona communities, including Kingman, Winslow, Verde Valley, Page and Scottsdale. Each spring, Master Chorale of Flagstaff joins the Shrine of the Ages Choir, the top mixed choir at NAU, to perform with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra. Works presented include: Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Choral Fanta Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and a fully-staged performance of Verdi’s opera Macbeth Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and the spring 2006 concert, Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, both featured Dr. Copley as guest conductor.

The Master Chorale of Flagstaff has performed abroad in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, New Zealand, and Australia. The Master Chorale of Flagstaff strives to present diverse concerts that build individual musicianship for its members and offer interesting, inspiring and professional performances for our community. We are proud of our past accomplishments but are eager to improve upon and continue our tradition of quality choral music performances in northern Arizona.
