Master Chorale of Flagstaff presents a concert of human journeys through music in collaboration with the opening of Coconino Center for the Arts’ new exhibition, “25 Million Stitches: One Stitch, One Refugee.” Music on this program builds a bridge with cultural and current events in Syria, Ukraine, and East Africa, and U. S. composers invite us to cherish the gifts to be free and loved by neighbors, to help others find refuge and home.
Christmas in the Mountains: Southwest Solstice

We will be joined by Flagstaff High School and Sechrist Elementary School for this winter program which includes seasonal holiday music with brass quintet, audience sing-alongs, and Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest, sung in Spanish and English and performed with harp, guitar, and percussion. Master Chorale presents a festive afternoon concert for the whole family, with time for dinner before Flagstaff’s Holiday of Lights Festival.

A Valentine's Baroque Opera with Dance

Master Chorale of Flagstaff joins with NAU Community Dance Academy to present a Valentine’s drama by English Baroque composer, John Blow. Complete with Cupid and cupid’s pupils, this performance will be presented with dance and children’s chorus, chamber orchestra, and NAU vocal soloists.
Brahms & Dilworth: Remembrance & Justice

Master Chorale of Flagstaff performs with NAU’s Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Steve Meyer, to present two moving works for winds and choir: Johannes Brahms Begräbnisgesang and the Arizona premiere of Rollo Dillworth’s Weather, with poetry written by Claudia Rankine in 2020.
